Agenda

  1. Call to order the regular monthly meeting of the Clarksburg School Committee:
  2. Open Meeting Rules/Public Comment: Clarification of the open meeting rules of participation
  3. Announcements: This meeting is taking the place of the school committee meeting originally scheduled for May 7, 2026.
  4. Approval of Minutes: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the Clarksburg School Committee Meeting dated April 2, 2026.
  5. School Building Update: Review the updated plans for school building work this summer using ADA grant funding and the stabilization account, and focusing on the needed improvements to the bathrooms and entry to the school.
  6. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the current financial statement for FY26.
  7. Financial Report: Discuss any final updates to the FY 27 school budget proposal prior to the Clarksburg Annual Town Meeting on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

    1. Continuing Business:
      1. North Berkshire Regionalization Study: Superintendent Franzoni will provide an update on the posting of a new RFP to hire a consultant to lead the regional study for nine towns in North Berkshire County.
      2. Tuition agreement: Discuss updates on the progress to develop a tuition agreement for the 2026-2027 school year with Readsboro, Vermont.  The school committee will vote to approve the development of a tuition agreement for the upcoming school year after any further questions and discussion.
