3. Public Comment:
4. Election of Officers:  Election of NBSU Joint Committee Officers for FY24
5. Minutes: Approval of the March 27, 2023 NBSU Joint Committee meeting minutes
6. Contact List: Review the current Joint Committee contact list (to make any edits)
7. Legal Update: NBSU Attorney Adam Dupere will attend the meeting to review all legal updates, including the recent school choice tuition communication from DESE, as well as sharing his legal opinion on updates needed for current prekindergarten tuition policies.
8. Principal Reports: Brief overviews from each building principal on the start of the current school year in their district
9. Director of Technology Report: Josh Arico will review his continuing work to update and maintain Power School and Apptegy/Thrill Share, as well as his recent experience attending a state cyber safety conference as part of his ongoing work to keep the information and data in the NBSU schools safe for the students and staff members.
10. Business Administrator’s Report: Lisa Blackmer will review the FY23 End of the Year Report process for each school district/town, as well as any other pertinent financial items related to the FY23 budget, or the current status of FY24, including the status of any grant applications
11. NSBU Joint Agreement:  Update the FY25 percentages for each NBSU school district based on the October 1 student population data (as was amended in FY19).
12. Assistant Superintendent Report: Tara Barnes will provide an update for any pertinent items in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and special education in the NBSU districts.
13. Superintendent Report: Superintendent Franzoni will provide an update on his evaluation for the 2022-2023 school year as conducted by the NBSU Joint Committee Officers, Judy Oleson and Arleigh Cooper.  The superintendent will also share any updates to his two-year Educator Evaluation goals for the 2023-2024 school year, as well as any relevant updates for the committee.
14. Contract/Evaluation Updates: The superintendent will review any relevant evaluation and/or contract updates for the administrators, including the negotiations process for the superintendent and business administrator’s contracts.  There will also be a discussion about transition plans for the NBSU office staff.
15. New Joint Committee Business: Any other items for discussion and review by the committee members not reasonably anticipated prior to the posting of this meeting.
16. Next NBSU Joint Committee Meeting: TBD (March/April 2023)
17. Adjournment:
