Clarksburg Hometown Hero Banner Application Now Available
We’re excited to announce that the Hometown Hero Banner Program is now OPEN in Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, North Adams, and Williamstown!
The program honors ALL Veterans, those currently serving, those discharged, and those deceased. All while continuing to recognize those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
TOWN UPDATES:
Adams – Expanding the long-standing Park St. KIA recognition to include all living Veterans, both currently serving and discharged.
Clarksburg – Locations are being finalized based on participation. Open to all Veterans, living and deceased.
Cheshire – Locations are being finalized based on participation. Open to all Veterans, living and deceased.
Florida – Pending Town approval. Decision August 26 at Town Meeting. Applications are still being accepted.
Lanesborough – Program is being managed by Town Clerk Ruth Knysh. Call 413-442-1351 for information.
North Adams – Following our successful first wave, the second wave will be placed on telephone poles throughout the City.
Savoy – Pending Town approval at the next Town Meeting. Applications are still being accepted.
Williamstown – Locations are being finalized based on participation. Open to all Veterans, living and deceased.
Banners will cost approximately $125–$150, depending on the municipality and banner size. This covers production, maintenance, replacements, and a hardship fund. A small future renewal fee may be needed to keep the program going.
