Route 8 Bridge Reopening – October 9

The Town of Clarksburg is pleased to announce that the Route 8 (River Road) bridge will reopen to traffic on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Please be advised that East Road will NOT reopen to public traffic. Access to East Road will remain restricted to emergency vehicles only.

Residents and motorists should continue to follow all posted signage and use designated routes. Please use caution while traveling through the area as final project work may still be underway.
