  1. Call to order the regular monthly meeting of the Clarksburg School Committee:
  2. Open Meeting Rules/Public Comment: Clarification of the open meeting rules of participation
  3. Announcements: The next NBSU Joint Committee meeting will take place on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 6 p.m. in Florida at Abbott Memorial School
  4. Approval of Minutes: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the Clarksburg School Committee Meetings dated October 1, 2026.
  5. School Building Update: Review and discuss any necessary building issues before the school committee for their review.
  6. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the current financial statement for FY27.
  7. Financial Report: NBSU Business Administrator Jordan Rennell will review the FY 27 budget progress, as well as preliminary preparations for developing the FY 28 school budget in Clarksburg and the NBSU

    1. Continuing Business:
      1. Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study (nbess.org): The next Steering Committee meeting will be Tuesday, November 10 at 5 p.m. at Drury High School.  The project leadership team will also be presenting at the NBSU Joint Committee meeting on November 9, 2026 in Florida to review the progress so far, as well as next steps in the process to gather more information in Phase I of the regional study.
      2. NBSU Subcommittee: Review discussions from the two fall subcommittee meetings to help with preparations for adjustments to the NBSU agreement presented and discussed at the NBSU Joint Committee meeting on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in Florida at Abbott Memorial School.
