1. Call to order the regular monthly meeting of the Clarksburg School Committee:
2. Open Meeting Rules/Public Comment: Clarification of the open meeting rules of participation
3. Announcements:
4. Approval of Minutes: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the minutes from the Clarksburg School Committee Meetings dated September 3, 2026.
5. School Building Update: Review and discuss any necessary updates in reference to the building work that will need to be completed in the summer of 2027, as well as any other building issues that should be brought before the school committee for their review.
6. Financial Statement: Suggested Motion: Move to approve the current financial statement for FY27.
7. Financial Report: NBSU Business Administrator Jordan Rennell will review the effort to collaborate with the town financial officials to reconcile all accounts for the end of FY 26 and the start of FY 27, as well as work on town requests for previous fiscal years.

    1. Continuing Business:
       1. Contract request: Review, discuss, and vote on a request from a recently retired staff member for a payout of sick leave benefits.
       2. Berkshire Educational Sustainability Study (nbess.org):  A survey will be available on the nbess.org website requesting that all stakeholders residing or working in the North Berkshire districts and towns to participate and provide feedback about the schools.  The Steering Committee is asking all residents, staff members, students, etc. to please get involved and share your perspectives.
       3. Attendance Policy: Principal Rougeau shared an updated Attendance Policy that has been included in the school committee packet for review, discussion, and a vote by the committee members present.
       4. NBSU Subcommittee: This group met on September 22, and planned a follow up meeting on Wednesday, October 21 to continue working on updating the shared union agreement for the NBSU districts and towns, prior to the tentative date of the next NBSU Joint Committee meeting on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Abbott Memorial School in Florida.
